Ben Hanney

Ben specialises in delivering Health and Safety related training. He is well known for his entertaining and fun style of delivery.

He has a Fire Service background, working as an operational fire fighter within the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service for twenty years. 

Ben has served on the National Fire Services Benevolent Fund Committee as the Bradford Division Chairperson, and was instrumental in raising many thousands of pounds for many different charities.  

In November 1993 Ben retired from the Fire Service due to an injury and began a new career in Health and Safety, subsequently gaining various qualifications in this field. He was the Fire and Health and Safety Advisor to the Bradford Community Trust NHS for four years before returning to the Fire Service as a uniformed Commercial Trainer gaining the Fire Service training certificate. 

Ben's interests include amateur dramatics, watching and playing sport (he's a Bradford City season ticket holder), gardening (when the weather allows) and DIY on a small scale. He has also completed ten marathons!
